YouTuber and entrepreneur Gaurav Taneja, aka ‘Flying Beast,’ is in the middle of an interesting controversy since he was locked out of his LinkedIn account. This comes after he was on Shark Tank India Season 4, where he introduced his fitness brand BeastLife but was rebutted by investor Anupam Mittal.
What Went Down During the Episode of Shark Tank India?
Taneja, a former pilot and now a fitness influencer and entrepreneur, brought his brand, BeastLife, to the show to gain investments. Nonetheless, Anupam Mittal, who owns Shaadi.com, pointed out the flaws in his strategy and said: “You are a good influencer but a terrible entrepreneur so far. I am sorry, but you can’t outsource entrepreneurship.”
In proper form, Taneja accepted the criticism and, bold as he is, changed his LinkedIn bio to: “Good Influencer/Terrible Entrepreneur.”
LinkedIn Lifelong Lockout
Taneja’s account was locked, which prevented him from accessing his LinkedIn page. Rather baffled, he turned to social media and asked: “Can you assist me? For over 48 hours, I have been unable to log into my LinkedIn account.”
This caused broad discussions online, as many people asked if LinkedIn had taken the initiative after the bio update or if it was a malfunction.
Hi team @LinkedInIndia . I have been locked out of my account for 48+ hrs now.

Can you help me get the account back please
Thanks@LinkedInHelp
The Response From LinkedIn
After receiving help, Taneja was able to garner more attention to his situation, and LinkedIn India had an answer. They accepted the situation and promised him help with fixing the problem.
It is still a mystery what the cause of the account lockout is. Some folks believe it’s a security measure, while others think the Shark Tank dispute could have contributed to it.
Reactions from Fans and Entrepreneurs
It has sparked discussions on the changing nature of entrepreneurship and the problems moderators face while trying to shift into other forms of enterprises. There are people in support of Taneja who feel that entrepreneurship in recent times is more than just following the same old patterns; it also involves a combination of personal branding and digital marketing.
Some, however, supported Mittal’s view of the world, suggesting that being famous on social media alone is insufficient to be successful in business.
Final Thoughts
While it is yet to be established how this will change over time, Taneja can also use critique as a productive conversation starter, showcasing his social media influencer capacity. Whether the lockout was intentional or purely coincidental, Taneja certainly added a layer of mystique to his bio, which in turn promises to enhance his popularity on Shark Tank India.
What do you think? Is it a lockout bug from LinkedIn, or is there more to the story?
